Saran: RJD MP Prabhunath Singh is in trouble after he reportedly threatened Saran`s District Magistrate-cum-returning officer Kundan Kumar, reports said on Wednesday. Singh was caught on camera making the threat.

The threat came after Kumar got two FIRs registered against Singh last week in connection with poll campaign-related offences.

On Tuesday, a court had taken cognizance of the FIRs and issued two non-bailable warrants against Singh.
"The DM was earlier posted in Nalanda, and is said to be one of the favourite officers of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. I am going to a local temple. I will come back with a kafan (shroud) for myself, and also for the returning officer. I am not going to be cowed down by threats of rejecting my nomination papers," the RJD leader is seen as saying in the video-footage.
The RJD MP, who is contesting the Lok Sabha polls from Maharajganj, has filed an anticipatory bail plea in the court. The hearing on the same has been postponed till April 25.

Maharajganj goes to polls on May 7.
