Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan) : Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with is Kyrgyz counterpart Temir Sariyev launched a telemedicine links between the two countries and visited Kyrgyz-India mountain biomedical research center(KIMBMRC)at capital Bishkek on Sunday (July 12).
This link will be established between highly specialized hospitals of India.
At the Kyrgyz-India Mountain Biomedical Research Centre(KIMBMRC), Prime Minister Modi inspected the facilities that were available with them and he also visited Kyrgyzstan's Field Hospital and gifted medical equipment.
Shortly before that, Prime Minister Modi electronically unveiled a plaque commemorating the inauguration of the extreme high altitude test laboratory.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Kyrgyzstan's President Almazbek Atambayev also signed an agreement on defence cooperation to deepen ties between the two countries in matters relating to defence, security, military education and trading.
He interacted with Indian and Krygyz soldiers and both sides also agreed to conduct joint military exercises, exchange of military instructors and observers.
Prime Minister Modi has since arrived in Tajikistan, before flying back home on July 13. He is the first Indian Prime Minister to visit all five central Asian nations in one go.
