Swine flu has claimed four more lives in Gujarat, taking the toll to 404 since January this year, according to an official release issued here Thursday.

Ahmedabad: Swine flu has claimed four more lives in Gujarat, taking the toll to 404 since January this year, according to an official release issued here Thursday.

Apart from these deaths, 30 new swine flu cases have been recorded across the state today, taking the total number of cases to 6,301 so far.

"Gujarat has reported four swine flu deaths today, taking the total number of deaths to 404, while 30 new H1N1 (swine flu) cases were reported today," the release said.

Out of these four deaths, one death each have been recorded in Ahmedabad, Amreli, Surat and Surendranagar district, the release said.

The Gujarat state government also claimed that 5,571 patients have been cured till date.
