Swine flu has claimed three more lives in parts of Rajasthan in the last 24 hours, raising the toll due to the H1N1 virus to 378 since January this year, an official said Monday.

Out of these, one person each succumbed to the H1N1 virus in Jaipur, Sikar, and Udaipur.

Out of 6,203 people found positive for the virus, 378 have died of the dreaded disease so far this year, the official of the Medical and Health Directorate said.

This includes the 21 H1N1-patients who had come to Rajasthan for treatment from other states and died in government or private hospitals during the stipulated period, the official said, quoting a new bifurcation of data.

Jaipur?has recorded 72 deaths, maximum in the state, followed by?Ajmer?41, Jodhpur?33, Nagaur 30, Barmer 23, Kota 18, Chittorgarh and Udaipur 13 each, Sikar 12, ?Pali 11, Bhilwara, Tonk and Jhunjhunu 9 each, Churu and Bikaner 7 each, Dausa and Banswara 6 each, Bharatpur, Alwar and Rajsamand 5 each and one to four at many other places in the state.
