New Delhi: In a major breakthrough, National Investigation Agency (NIA) officials on Tuesday arrested Hyderabad ISIS module chief Yasir Niamatullah.
Also, NIA has arrested Athaullah Rehman, who raised funds for the dreaded terror outfit, ISIS.
"Yasir Niamatullah, chief of Hyderabad module, and Athaullah Rehman, a motivator who raised funds, have been arrested by NIA from here," sources in Telangana Intelligence Department said.
"They are being produced in court on Tuesday," they said.
Reportedly, the two were arrested in connection with the ongoing investigation at Hyderabad for their involvement in terror conspiracy case.
Earlier, five youths were arrested from Hyderabad by the NIA on charges of involvement in an alleged ISIS terror module.
AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi had said his party would provide legal help to the arrested youths.
Reacting to Owaisi's statement, BJP MLA T Raja Singh had demanded his immediate arrest for announcing that his party will provide legal help.
