Bharat Mata ki Jai row: 'Does Constitution say follow Islam, read Quran?' - Baba Ramdev blasts Asaduddin Owaisi

New Delhi: Clarifying his 'beheading' remark over Bharat Mata ki Jai row, Yoga guru Baba Ramdev has strongly lashed out at AIMIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi.

"Does Constitution of India say to follow Islam and read Quran," Baba Ramdev asked taking a jibe at Owaisi during an interview to News Nation channel.

Owaisi had said that he won't say Bharat Mata ki Jai as Constitution of India doesn't say so.

"It's wrong to give provocative statements and hate speeches," Ramdev said blasting Owaisi.

AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi had said that he won’t raise the slogan - Bharat Mata ki Jai - even if a knife is put to his throat.

Reacting to Owaisi's knife remark, Ramdev had said if not for the law, he would have “beheaded” people for refusing to chant ‘Bharat Mata ki Jai'.
