New Delhi: The top brass of the RSS, its various affiliates and the BJP will continue to deliberate on challenges facing the Narendra Modi government and steps required to tackle them on the second day of the crucial BJP-RSS review meet on Thursday.
Having deliberated on various issues of national importance on Wednesday, the top brass of the RSS and the BJP will try to chalk out a course correction strategy for the Modi government during today's session.
Today's session will possibly focus on the education policy of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government. Discussion on key issues like the Patel quota protest in Gujarat, religion based census and Clean Ganga mission will also be taken up.
With the RSS hardening its stand on the ongoing pension stalemate and telling the government to resolve it at the earliest, the OROP issue may see some progress during the conclusion of the three-day BJP-RSS meet on Friday.

Governance issues like the land bill and the Patels' reservation agitation in Gujarat and recent census figures were also reportedly discussed on the first day.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to attend the event on its last day on Friday. On Wednesday, Union Ministers Rajnath Singh, Arun Jaitley, Sushma Swaraj, Manohar Parrikar, Venkaiah Naidu, Anant Kumar besides party chief Amit Shah and some other ministers made key presentations before the RSS top brass at Madhya Pradesh Bhawan in Delhi's Vasant Kunj.
Behind closed doors, the ministers were also made to answer tough questions from members of the RSS and its 15 affiliates attending the meet.
BJP chief Amit Shah will also brief the conclave about the BJP's programmes in the last few months and plans for the future, especially in view of the Bihar elections, to be held soon.

RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat presided over the meeting which was attended by representatives of 15 Sangh associates, including Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Swadeshi Jagaran Manch and Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangathan.
However, BJP general secretary Ram Madhav, who has been deputed by the RSS to the party, told reporters that there would be no discussion on the OROP issue, adding that the government is seized of the matter.
"The meeting is about how we should move ahead into the future. It's not about any review of the government or any policy and programmes," he said.
Sources said government would be given a feedback over the issues before it but it would not be any threadbare analysis of any specific programme or policy.
There was a feeling among the participants in the meeting that the contentious OROP issue should be resolved at the earliest, considering that it is an issue dear to the Sangh Parivar.
Coordination meetings among the Parivar outfits are bi-annual in nature but this time the number of participants is almost double the usual, giving the meeting an extra significance. Modi is also attending it for the first time after becoming the Prime Minister.
