Delhi: Refusing to back off over the DDCA controversy, the Aam Aam Party said on Tuesday that Union Finance Minister may have big lawyers but Arvind Kejriwal had the strength of truth.

"We are not that weak to be shaken off by the false cases against our people or unfair disturbance in our work," AAP's official Twitter handle posted.

"The fight towards our goal is strengthened and driven by our passion to curb corruption," read another Tweet.

The party further wrote, "BJP has been playing the game of words all this while and misleading the public, but Arvind Kejriwal fight corruption truly and firmly."

Following are the series of tweets posted by the party:

Meanwhile, Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia today said during the special session of the Delhi Assembly that the CBI raids in the Delhi Secretariat was "purely" aimed at scrutinising files related to alleged irregularities in Delhi and District Cricket Association.

Sisodia claimed that during the raid, enquiries were made by the probe agency's officials about people who had visited Kejriwal and each and every file kept in a CMO room was looked into in the "garb" of investigating principal secretary Rajendra Kumar.

Incidentally, Kumar was seated in the visitors' gallery of the Assembly during the proceedings. When her turn to speak came, AAP MLA Alka Lamba heaped praises on him, saying, "We are proud of an officer like you." Amid protests by Leader of Opposition Vijender Gupta, Sisodia, flanked by Kejriwal, moved a resolution on the floor of the Assembly to constitute a Commission of Inquiry to probe the alleged corruption in DDCA.
