Kannur: In one of the incidents of violence in the name of religion, a video studio owned by a Muslim man in Kerala was set ablaze after he made comments on the use of purdah by Muslim women.

Now, one must be wondering - What did he say?

Commenting on the use of purdah (veil) by Muslim women, P Rafeeque had allegedly said that purdah was used by few persons as a cover for engaging in immoral activities, according to a report in Indian Express.

His studio Obcura in Taliparamba of Kannur district was set afire in the wee hours of Saturday. 

According to Rafeeque, he incurred a loss of Rs 10 lakh.
