New Delhi: Indian Army's Director General of Military Operations (DGMO) Lt. Gen. Ranbir Singh on Thursday confirmed that brave soldiers conducted surgical strikes on terrorist launch pads across the Line of Control (LoC) and eliminated several Pakistan-trained terrorists.
Here is what happened in the Indian Army's surgical strikes which decimated Pakistan-trained terrorists:-
- Indian Army conducted surgical strikes on terror launch pads on the LoC
- Significant casualties were caused to Pakistan-trained terrorists and reportedly some of the Pakistan armymen also killed
- Indian Army Special Forces operation on terror launch pads lasted from 12:30AM-4:30AM in Pakistan's territory
- Most importantly, no Indian casualties reported during surgical strikes
- Location was 500 meters-2Km across LoC
- 5 terror launch pads destroyed by Army across LoC
- Indian Army special Forces were para-dropped
- Strikes were carried out in Bhimber, Hotspring, Kel and Lipa sectors of Pakistan's territory
- The motive of this operation was to hit out at the terrorists who were planning to infiltrate into Indian territory
- The strikes were carried out as there have been many infiltration bids by terrorists at LoC
