New Delhi: After addressing a massive rally in Campal Ground Goa, Aam Aadmi Party convenor Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday confirmed that the party will contest Assembly elections in Goa scheduled to be held in 2017.
Kejriwal tweeted: AAP will fight elections in Goa.
Stating that AAP is the only hope of corruption free Goa, Kejriwal said, “We are not A/B teams. We are C team to finish Criminals, Corruption, Communalism.”
"Corruption has reduced in Delhi by at least 70%. Only Aam Aadmi Party has the will to file FIR against Ambani. Narendra Modi took over Delhi ACB as soon as AAP came into power to protect Sheila Dikshit,” he added.
Further putting forth his government's achievements, he said, “Electricity rates in Delhi are second lowest in India. 36 lakh families benefited because of our subsidy of 1400 crores.”
Later, launching a scathing attack on former Goa CM Manohar Parrikar, he said, “Parrikar fooled the people of Goa with his poll promises. I challenge Parrikar to show 5 things which he has completed of manifesto.”
