Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Tuesday said that the government has role to play in National Herald case and it's a court decision fo summoning Sonia and Rahul Gandhi.

New Delhi: Senior BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad on Tuesday said that the party would like to clarify that we are not in picture at all, it is entirely a court process.

"Everything is before the court, the government has no role whatsoever remotely in entire process," Ravi Shankar Prasad added.

Also, reacting to the uproar in Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha, Arun Jaitley said, "A private complaint had been filed in National Herald case, government doesn't come in the picture." 

"Government is nowhere in this; also, how does Parliament feature in this," wondered Arun Jaitley on uproar over both the Houses.

Earlier, on Tuesday, in a temporary relief to Congress' president Sonia Gandhi and vice-president Rahul Gandhi, the hearing in National Herald case had been adjourned till December 19.
