New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday extended greetings to Germany on its Unification Day and vowed to strengthen ties with that country.

Germany celebrates October three as the Unification Day, commemorating the fall of the Berlin Wall 24 years ago. German unification was a direct result of the peaceful revolutions in Central and Eastern Europe.
