Mumbai: Actress Rakhi Sawant on Sunday said that she Radhe Maa was akin to God for her and that she really liked her.
Leading daily Navbharat Times quoted Rakhi telling a news channel that one of the reason that she liked Radhe Maa was because she wore new and nice clothes.
The actress also said that Radhe Maa must be having some qualities due to which so many people were attracted to her.
Moreover, Rakhi saw no harm in the controversial godwoman wearing short dresses.
Meanwhile, Mumbai Police today issued summons to Radhe Maa who has to appear within four days at the Kandivali Police station.
Radhe Maa has been summoned for recording her statement in connection with a dowry harassment case.
"Summons has been issued to her and she has to appear in the court within four days, whenever the court will call her. If she doesn`t appear in the court then another summon will be issued against her," said Kandivali police inspector Sudhir Dalvi, as per ANI.
The summons was issued after police registered an FIR against Radhe Maa and others last week, including the in-laws of a 32-year-old woman who has accused the `godwoman` of instigating her in-laws, who are her followers for many years, to demand dowry from her.
The self-proclaimed `Godwoman` became the talk of the town for her pictures in a short skirt that went viral on social media after which she was accused of `obscenity`.
