New Delhi: In a prompt and stringent action, the Railways Ministry on Thursday suspended the constable who was caught on camera taking money from passengers in train. The video had gone massively viral on various social media platforms.
Tweeting about the constable's suspension, Rail Minister Suresh Prabhu said, "We strive for people friendly, transparent, efficient, governance."

The official Twitter handle of Ministry of Railways also tweeted the details of the suspension.
