Rajya Sabha session to begin from April 23

New Delhi: The Rajya Sabha will resume its session from April 23 and continue till May 13, after President Pranab Mukherjee accepted the recommendation of the Cabinet Committee on Parliamentary Affairs.

Earlier, the second part of the Rajya Sabha session was prorogued by President Mukherjee paving the way for the re-promulgation of Land Acquisition Ordinance.

Meanwhile, the Lok Sabha will resume its proceedings from April 20, as per the schedule, after a month long break.
