New Delhi: External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, who was admitted to the AIIMS on Monday due to chest congestion and fever, continues to remain under observation of a team of doctors.
In a statement, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) said: "A medical team of specialists continues to monitor her. Her current condition is stable and she is showing signs of improvement."
Sushma Swaraj was admitted to the old private ward of Pulmonary Medicine Department of the AIIMS at around 5 pm on Monday with fever and chest congestion with features of pneumonia.
At around 10 pm, 64-year-old Swaraj was shifted to the Cardio-Neuro Centre of the hospital.
She has been a cardiac patient for long, said doctors.
