Kolkata: It has been more two-and-a-half years since Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the ambitious Clean India campaign/ Swachh Bharat Mission.
While occasional cleanliness drives are launched across the country as part of the mission, we have yet to see people make 'cleanliness' part of their routine.
But, personnel of the Border Security Force (BSF), on election duty in West Bengal, have shown that it takes determination and little effort to clean-up our surroundings and help realise the dream of a Clean India.
While performing their election duty at schools in West Bengal, they took time out to clean up the facilities and their surroundings.
We are sure, once the elections are over and children return to schools they would have smiles on their faces and this to say to the BSF men: 'thank you uncle'.
