Uber Boy: Baby boy delivered in cab, named after car service - Watch video

New Delhi: A woman named Babli delivered a baby in a private cab company Uber in the national capital. 

Babli had hired the cab after she got no response from the ambulance service. She tried to reach Safdarjung Hospital in New Delhi with a relative in the cab but she had to halt on the way as she was writhing in pain from labour. 

Shahnawaz who was the driver of the cab advised them to call the ambulance, but they failed to get one which led them to drive to the hospital while Babli delivered in the backseat of the cab. 

The family of the woman thanked Shahnawaz and asked him to name the child, who promptly named the baby after the company’s name, Uber.
