Doha: You may not believe it but yes, it happened. A tiger was seen wandering through heavy traffic on one of Doha's busiest roads on Tuesday.
The video of the tiger roaming among cars on the Doha Expressway went viral on social media.
In the footage, the tiger can be seen running on the road through heavy traffic.
It is being said that the tiger fell onto the road from a moving truck.
Government officials said that they would investigate the incident with the interior ministry tweeting about it, "We assure all that the concerned authorities (are) following up with what has been trending over spotting a tiger in some areas of the country."

Some said on social media that the big cat had been captured safe and sound.
However, there was no official confirmation to the same.
It was also not confirmed as to who owns the tiger.
People are known to own wild animals as pets in wealthy Gulf countries.
