Jabalpur: A person was killed and 22 others including seven women were injured today when the private bus in which they were travelling fell into the Hiran river off a bridge, police said.
The bus was on its way to Jabalpur from Dhimarkheda in the district.
There wasn`t much water in the river, police said.
The deceased passenger was yet to be identified.
Sixteen of the injured were admitted in Jabalpur`s Government-run Victoria Hospital while the rest were admitted in a hospital at Sehora.
