New Delhi: Punjab Congress leader Captain Amarinder Singh will be the deputy leader of Congress in the 16th Lok Sabha, it was announced on Thursday.
Further, Jyotiraditya Scindia will be the chief whip of the Congress in the Lok Sabha.
Deepender Hooda and KC Venugopal will be made whip, Congress sources said.
The announcement came days after the Congress appointed former railways minister Mallikarjun Kharge as the leader of Congress in the Lok Sabha.
