Jaipur: Indian Army`s Southern Command will this year celebrate its Investiture Ceremony in Jodhpur, where the command`s one formation is based, a defence spokesperson said here on Friday.
The units which have achieved overall excellence in the largest command of the Army will also be felicitated in the ceremony slated on January 15, defence spokesperson Col SD Goswami said.
"In all, three Yudh Seva medals, 18 Sena medals, 13 Vishisht Seva medals and?12?Unit Citations will be awarded by the Southern Army Commander Lt Gen Ashok Singh," Col Goswami said.
