Dwivedi on Monday became the latest victim of a shoe attack when a
man, posing as a journalist, brandished his shoe at him before
being caught and pounced by party workers.

The followings are the famous shoe-throwing incidents
which began with an attack on former US President George Bush
in Iraq more than two years ago.
