New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday congratulated his close aide Amit Shah after he was appointed as the president of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and said that the party will become stronger under his leadership.
Modi praised Shah and said that he has reached the position after years of hard work and determination.
Amit Bhai started his journey as an ordinary Karyakarta & has repeatedly proven himself through tireless hardwork & determination.

The tweet came shortly after the party`s parliamentary board unanimously elected Shah as the BJP president.
Outgoing party president and Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh made the announcement.
Modi also thanked Singh and said that the party has reached new heights under his leadership.

He further added that the senior party leaders and workers have contributed towards creating a strong and developed country.
