`Sahyog` in BJP: Javadekar to meet party workers today

As part of Prime Minister Narendra Modi`s initiative to ensure better government-party coordination, Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar will meet party workers at BJP headquarters on Monday.

New Delhi: As part of Prime Minister Narendra Modi`s initiative to ensure better government-party coordination, Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar will meet party workers at BJP headquarters on Monday.

Called the `Sahyog Programme`, the series of meetings will see Union Ministers hear grievances and get feedback from party workers.

Javadekar, who is also the Minister of State for Environment will be at the party headquarters between 4 PM and 6 PM as part of to help redress grievances of party workers and public and also seek feedback them.
Tomorrow will be the turn of Minister of State for Power and Coal Piyush Goyal, while Minister of State for Railways Manoj Sinha will meet party workers on Wednesday.

Oil Minister Dharmendra Pradhan would be at party headquarters for `Sahyog` on Thursday, while Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways Krishan Pal Gujjar will be there on Friday.

The move, initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his meeting with party leaders here on July 2, is aimed at not only ensuring better government-party coordination but also getting feedback from partymen visiting the party office from all over the country.
As per the decision, a minister has to be made available once everyday between 4 to 6 PM to meet party men and redress their grievances.

The initiative is one of the many taken by the party after Modi`s close associate Amit Shah took over as party president last month.

This series was launched last week in the presence of Parliamentary Affairs Minister M Venkaiah Naidu.
