New Delhi: Congress general secretary Digvijay Singh on Tuesday hit out at the Bharatiya Janata Party for attacking Congress president Sonia Gandhi`s son-in-law Robert Vadra for his rise in the real estate business.

Replying to Arun Jaitley`s statement to a news channel that Vadra was a symbol of misuse of power in the decade-long Congress rule, Singh said the senior BJP leader must say “which law Vadra has violated”.

“Just because he (Vadra) is Priyanka ji`s husband, he should be jailed? Is this the way?,” asked Singh.

On Saturday, Jaitley took a swipe at Vadra in his blog, writing: "Congratulations to Robert Vadra. He has made it to the Wall Street Journal. The Vadra business model requires the research paper to be prepared by a key business analyst."
He was referring to a write-up in The Wall Street Journal which raised questions of his meteoric rise in the real estate sector.

Also on Saturday, BJP`s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi fired fresh salvos at the Congress, terming the UPA a "mother-son" government and raking up the alleged land deals of Robert Vadra by saying that the country wants to know about the "RSVP (Rahul, Sonia, Vadra, Priyanka) model".
Modi, who has been under attack from the Congress over his Gujarat model of development, referred to Vadra and said India wants to know about the model in which "Rs 1 lakh become Rs.300 crore in four years".
