New Delhi: Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader and Union Minister of State for Agriculture Tariq Anwar termed the manner in which the crew of SpiceJet risked the lives of passengers as grave.

"What I think is that if the crew members flouted security measures, that is a cause for concern. We must look into it, and it is the duty of the Ministry of Civil Aviation to see that such cases are not repeated, as nobody should play with the lives of people," Anwar said.
On Wednesday, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) issued a show cause notice to SpiceJet, asking why its licence should not be suspended, after a video showed cabin crew on a Goa - Bangalore flight dancing in the aisles. The video went viral on social media.
