Mumbai: Both the varieties of sugar prices slipped at the Vashi wholesale market here today due to subdued demand from stockist and retailers.
Small sugar (S-30) declined by Rs 13/7 per quintal to Rs 3,022/3,165 from Thursday`s closing level of Rs 3,035/3,172.
Medium sugar (M-30) fell by Rs 4/10 per quintal to Rs 3,152/3,311 as compared to Rs 3,156/3,321 yesterday.
Following are today`s closing rates for sugar (per quintal) with the previous rates given in brackets:
Small sugar (S-30) quality: Rs 3,022/3,165 (Rs 3,035/3,172.
Medium sugar (M-30) quality: Rs 3,152/3,311 (Rs 3,156/3,321).
