Website on Subhash Chandra Bose to be launched tomorrow

A website dedicated to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose will be launched tomorrow on the occasion of the 112th birth anniversary of the leader, offering some insights into his sudden disappearance in August 1945.

of the 112th birth anniversary of the leader, offering some
insights into his sudden disappearance in August 1945.

The website, www.subhaschandrabose.org, will be hosted
by a Delhi-based non-profit trust, Mission Netaji, and
Kolkata-based Jayasree Prakashan, according to a press note
released today.

Mission Netaji has been working for few years to bring to
the public domain all documents related to inquiries about
Bose`s disappearance in August 1945, the note said.

"Many of these documents are still classified as `Top
Secret` and considered to be highly sensitive by the
Government of India.

"So far Mission Netaji has succeeded in obtaining the
release of 91 selected documents which were placed before the
G D Khosla Commission, set up to re-investigate the
disappearance of Bose. These documents will be available
through the new website," the press note said.

The website for the first time will offer Boses`
writings, speeches, letters, and studies by his
contemporaries, scholars and family members who were closely
associated with his work.
