Bikaner: Three children today died after their mother jumped into a water tank along with them in Rajasthan`s Hanumangarh district, police said.
"Ratna (35), had a quarrel with her husband over some trivial issues this morning following which she jumped into a water tank along with her three children near her house in Sonadi village in Nohar area," they said.
Ratna, however, survived and being treated in a nearby hospital, police said, adding her daughters Mahak (10) and Manisha (8) and son Yashpal (6) died in the incident.
The bodies have been sent for post mortem, police said.
