New Delhi: Our teachers have always played a very important role in shaping our lives. What we are today is all because of our teachers. So, on the occassion of Teachers' Day, we all should thank them for shaping our mind the right way, and helping us become better individuals.
Search engine giant Google celebrated Teachers' Day by paying tribute to all the teachers with a colourful doodle on its homepage.
Visitors on the homepage are treated with a doodle which features two hands i.e one of the mentor and the other of the student together solving an equation. Google's old version logo can be seen in the background.
Every year on September 5 Teachers' Day is celebrated in India since 1962 to commemorate Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan’s birthday. He was the first Vice President of independent India and the second President of India, but above all the most revered and loved teacher of religious and philosophical studies.
So, here is wishing a very Happy Teachers' Day to all the teachers who have inspired and made us become a better individuals.
