Jaipur: A Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee (RPCC) delegation today met Governor Kalyan Singh and demanded the arrest of two BJP MLAs and lodging of criminal against them for their derogatory remarks against Rahul Gandhi.

A RPCC delegation led by PCC president Sachin Pilot submitted a memorandum to the Governor stating that BJP MLAs Kailash Choudhary (Bayut constituency), and Gyan Dev Ahuja (Ramgarh) have allegedly made derogatory public statements like "traitor" against Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi, recently.

The PCC chief claimed that BJP MLAs' statements fall under criminal act of IPC, hence separate criminal cases be lodged against the duo and they should be arrested. He also demanded that the ruling BJP government should sack these two from the party and legislatorship.

On February 17 Choudhary reportedly made a statement against Congress VP in his constituency Bayut in Barmer district while yesterday in Alwar, Ahuja allegedly called Rahul a "traitor".

The delegation was joined by former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, AICC General Secretary C P Joshi, former PCC Presidents Dr Girija Vyas, Dr B D Kalla, Dr Chandrabhan, and leader of Opposition in Rajasthan House Rameshwar Dudi.
