Now, cooling 'water vapor clouds' that follows you around

London: An Italian architect has recently developed a cooling "water vapor cloud" that follows people as they walk.

According to Dezeen magazine, the ceiling-mounted installation by Carlo Ratti uses motion tracking to direct personalized "clouds" of water vapor at anyone walking beneath.

When the Cloud Cast detects someone walking beneath, a series of nozzles emit a cooling mist that gets backlit by LED lighting.

The project was developed to offer an energy-efficient cooling system for tropical desert climates, such as in the United Arab Emirates.

The system was designed to save energy and water by only targeting people it detects, rather than pumping mist through an entire space.
