New Delhi: In a recent move, Google, without making much noise, has added a feature to its Hangouts application which was first to come on the famous messaging app, WhatApp.

This newly-added feature allows users to create and share a link to any group conversation.

As per a report published in deccan chronicle, users can check whether the new feature is available for them by going to the ‘People and options’ setting in a group chat.

There they will find a toggle to enable the ‘Joining by link’ and an option to share the link to other apps.

The report further mentions that this feature will allow users to invite other people to their conversations without adding them to their Hangouts contacts list first.

However, there has to be some source of contact to share the link with other user.

This is the first instance, where Google Hangouts has taken a vivid lead over WhatsApp.
