As Bihar is set to go to polls in five phases starting from October 12- November 07, 2015, a pre-poll survey conducted by JantaKaMood for Zee Media has predicted that the 54% people will vote for NDA and 40.2% will support the JD(U)-RJD-Congress combine.

The said survey has covered party wise results, caste, gender, religion, constituencies and other areas.

Notably, it was conducted through telephony. Approximately 10 lakh people from Bihar were approached. Survey sample is created through random sampling at Assembly constituency level for all the 243 assembly seats. Data processing, analytics and historical data review are used to derive insights from the collected responses.

The Dalits and Mahadalits, who are considered a major vote bank of RJD and JD(U) leaders and constitute 16% of the population, may switch sides this time and go with the NDA.
