Suicide bomber shot dead by Pakistan security forces

Peshawar: A suicide bomber was today shot dead by security forces before he could hit a check post in Pakistan`s restive Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.

The bomber was gunned down before he could target the check post in Chudwan area, situated at the boundary point connecting Dera Ismail Khan district with the tribal belt, police said.

The bomber was intercepted by the security forces for a body search while trying to enter the district from tribal area.
He ran towards the check post and was gunned down by the law enforcers.
After the incident, the law enforces sealed the entire area and started search operation.
 
A huge blast was also heard as the explosive wrapped around body of the bomber exploded.
