New Delhi: NASA astronaut Scott Kelly, whose #YearInSpace mission has finally come to an end, has come back home to planet Earth today.
Kelly successfully completed a year-long mission aboard the International Space Station, starting March 27, 2015. The year-long expedition plays a key role in the research for a future Mars mission.
Spending an entire year as a resident of the International Space Station, Kelly, along with his other crew members, have given viewers and space enthusiasts regular treats through their tweets and Instagram posts.
Amazing photographs of different countries and cities, moon, Earth, sunrises, sunsets, along with views of his time inside the space station were so good, that the President of the United States, Barack Obama, couldn't resist tweeting Scott Kelly and even spoke with the team on the phone!
