Chennai: AIADMK supremo J Jayalalithaa and other political leaders in the state on Saturday extended their Easter greetings to the people.\
Extending her greetings to Christians on the occasion, Jayalalithaa described Lord Jesus as the epitome of compassion and said he preached love and humanity.
In a statement, she urged one and all to follow his ideals of love and compassion.
DMK President M Karunanidhi recalled the various welfare measures initiated by his party-led governments to Christians including extending reservation benefits.
PMK founder S Ramadoss, TNCC President E V K S Elangovan and MDMK leader Vaiko also extended their Easter greetings.
