Amar Singh will soon decide on our future plans: Jaya Prada

Jaya Prada said Lok Manch supremo Amar Singh would soon take a decision on their future plans and which political outfit she would join.

Rampur: Actor-turned-politician Jaya Prada on Wednesday said her mentor and Lok Manch supremo Amar Singh would soon take a decision on their future plans and which political outfit she would join.

Singh, who was expelled from the Samajwadi Party, formed the Lok Manch and contested in the last assembly elections, but failed to win a single seat.

Addressing a press conference here, Jaya Prada criticised both SP and BSP, saying corruption was dominant in both the regimes in Uttar Pradesh, and asked the people to vote for change in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections.
The Samajwadi Party MP from Rampur Lok Sabha segment, who had been suspended from the party, said during the current regime the people of Uttar Pradesh have been witnessing corruption and hooliganism whereas in the erstwhile BSP regime it was only corruption.

Jaya Prada criticised senior SP minister Azam Khan for his alleged attempt to demolish the historic city gates of Rampur built during the Nawab era.
She appealed to the state government for the gates` reconstruction, saying "I will pay for the expenses as the gates have historic value."
