New Delhi: As Samajwadi Party faces ire from all corners for organising Saifai event on Wednesday, Aam Aadmi Party`s senior leader Kumar Vishwas on Thursday slammed the party`s act of ignoring the plight of Muzaffarnagar riot victims.
In an interview to a news agency, Vishwas has said that while 32 children have died in Muzaffarnagar, the senior leaders of the party were watching performances by Russian dancers.
While accusing both BJP and Congress of being silent on all junkets and celebrations, Vishwas said the parties are silent as they don`t know they might need support to form government.
Bollywood celebrities including Salman Khan and Madhuri Dixit to Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Eli Abraham, Mallika Sherawat, Varun Dhawan, Siddharth Malhotra, Remo, Sajid Wajid and Hard Kaur had performed during the final day of the Mahotsav.
The SP has been criticised for organising the event when Muzaffarnagar riot victims are struggling with severe cold.
