Minor girl abducted, gang-raped by four youths

A minor girl was allegedly abducted and gang-raped by four youths, including a local SP president, while she was returning home in Shamli district, police said.

Muzaffarnagar: A minor girl was allegedly abducted and gang-raped by four youths, including a local SP president, while she was returning home in Shamli district, police said on Saturday.

The 16-year-old victim was returning to her home in Banat town yesterday when the four accused abducted her and brought her in a car to a nearby house where she was gang-raped by them, Deputy SP, Prakash Kumar told reporters here.

The accused have been identified as Feroz, Pervaiz, Farman and Ikram, who is a Panchayat member and Samajwadi Party President in Banat, he said.
Two of the accused, Feroz and Pervaiz have been arrested while police is searching for the remaining two. The victim has been sent for medical examination, police said.
