Amethi: Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday said that the Congress don`t just talk but work also, adding that the party have done great work especially for the women of Amethi, where he has gone currently for a two-day visit ahead of the General Elections.
Rahul in Amethi said that the atmosphere is good and that it feels like a home to me. He arrived in his Lok Sabha constituency along with his sister Priyanka Gandhi.
The Congress vice president was shown black flags by a group of protesters upon his arrival in the vast constituency from where AAP leader Kumar Vishwas will be contesting and has also challenged BJP`s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi to fight the election for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls from Amethi.
Vishwas, who held a rally in Amethi recently, had targetted Rahul in his speech and said that he needs to work for the people of the constituency instead of eating and sleeping at a poor person`s house.
