India-headed Malaysian Flight MH192 turns back after technical glitch

Malaysia Airlines Flight MH192, which was bound to make landing at Bangalore with 166 people on board, turned back to Kuala Lumpur on Sunday due to a technical fault.

Kuala Lumpur: Malaysia Airlines Flight MH192, which was bound to make landing at Bangalore with 166 people on board, turned back to Kuala Lumpur on Sunday due to a technical fault.

As per Malaysia Airlines, Flight MH192 made an emergency landing at Kuala Lumpur after the aircraft’s right-hand landing gear malfunctioned during takeoff.

Flight MH192, operated on the B737-800 aircraft, was scheduled to arrive in Bangalore at 11.35pm the same day.

Moreover, it was carrying a total number of 166 people on board which include 159 passengers and 07 crew members.

However, the flight landed safely at Kuala Lumpur airport at around 1.56 am local time, Malaysia Airlines confirmed.

The search for the missing Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 is still on in the Indian Ocean.

MH370, which had over 200 passengers on board, went missing near Indian Ocean last month. Several nations are coordinating in tracing the whereabouts of the missing plane.
