Beirut: Islamic State of Iraq and Syria has released an execution video featuring Austrian and German militants who urging Muslims to carry out lone-wolf attacks or travel to ISIS-held territories.

In the video, Austrian militant Mohamed Mahmoud, also known as Abu Usama al-Gharib, is seen standing with a German militant while two captives, believed to be Syrian Army soldiers, are kneeling on the ground, according to SITE Intelligence Group.

Both the militants are armed and wearing fatigues with their faces clearly visible on the camera.

The video is believed to have been shot in Tadmur.

Mahmoud was arrested in 2007 and served four years in an Austrian prison for joining and supporting terror group al Qaeda.

After being released, his association with ISIS reportedly came to light.

The militant had also released a picture of himself posing in front of beheaded bodies in November last year.
