Seven killed in Nigeria road accident

Nigeria records high fatality rates for road accidents mainly due to shoddy highways.

Lagos: Seven people were killed and 17 injured in a road accident in Nigeria`s Ogun state, authorities said on Monday.

Commander of the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) Adegoke Adetunji told Xinhua that the driver of a Toyota Hummer bus lost control of the vehicle which veered off its lane and jumped the median before crashing into another bus travelling in the opposite direction.
