- British, French, Spanish and Italian tourists are said to be among those dead, added the Mirror report.
- According to a report in the Mirror, the death toll has increased to 15 as security personnel may have recovered more bodies after the operation ended.

- The site of attack has been cordoned off and anti-terrorism men have entered the museum.
- Reportedly, there were three gunmen donning military-style who took hostages inside the museum.
- The shooting in Tunisia comes soon after there were reports of gunfire at a shopping centre in Danish capital Copenhagen, which injured two. It is too early to say if there is any link between the two attacks.

"A terrorist attack (has hit) the Bardo Museum," Mosaique FM radio cited a statement by Interior Ministry spokesman Mohamed Ali Aroui.
