Noida: Two persons have been arrested here for allegedly cheating a mobile phone company of Rs 3 crore, police said today.

According to a complaint filed by Ringing Bell company owner, Mohit Goyal, the accused had struck a deal with him for supplying economical mobile phone sets, they said.

"But the company owner sent back the products worth Rs 3 crore to the accused as they were faulty," Vinay Prakash Singh, incharge, Sector 49 police station said.

The accused --Vikas Sharma and Jeetu-- failed to replace the faulty sets, he said.

The police official said Goyal had to face his customers' ire as he could not provide them with the affordable mobile sets.

A case was filed against Goyal and he was later released on bail, Singh said.

Police said an FIR has been registered against Vikas Sharma and Jeetu, and a hunt is on for their third accomplice.
