CWG 2018: Medals Tally on Day 4

India's tally went up to 12 in the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games 2018 on the fourt day of the sporting extravaganza on Sunday. Indian atletes three gold medals to keep the country on the third spot in the medals tally. Australia and England maintained their dominance. While Australia ended day four with 31 gold, 25 silver and 28 bronze for a combined tally of  84, for England the figures were 19 gold, 19 silver, 9 bronze taking their total to 47.

The day started with two gold and a silver in weight lifting and shooting. In the 10m air pistol woemn's event, India's teen sensation Manu Bhaker shot gold while the experinced senior Heena Sindhu took the silver. In the men's 10m air rifle final, India's Ravi Kumar won the bronze.  From the weightlifting arena, Punam Yadav took the gold in the 69kg category. Later, in the men's 94kg category, Vikas Thakur won a bronze. 

India won its seventh gold of the Commonwealth Games in women's table tennis team when the team beat Singapore 3-1. India experienced a super Sunday as the country added another six medals at the Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast.

Indian athletes will be in action in athletics, shooting, swimming, badminton, boxing, table tennis and weightlifting on Monday.
