New Delhi: Bollywood's 'Student Of The Year' has turned 25 today. Yes, we are talking about the oh-so-cute Alia Bhatt. The talented actress is currently busy shooting for her upcoming film 'Brahmastra' in Bulgaria and celebrated her birthday there.

Alia shared a throwback birthday video where she is a toddler and can be seen playing with daddy Mahesh Bhatt. The most awwdorable thing about this video is the way Alia says 'Mumma'. This home video is perhaps the best thing on the internet today.

Her mommy Soni Razdan too shared a heartwarming note on daughter's 25th birthday.

 

On this day 25 years ago you were born Alia. Your name had already been chosen in my head. Alia Knightly was a lovely British Indian model and when I read that name I had decided if I had a girl we would call her Alia. Luckily your father agreed. I had no idea what the name meant then. It was many years later that I found out it means ‘exalted’. And that you most certainly are. A month before you were born I had a dream. I saw your face clearly in that dream. Since then in these 25 years you have scaled great heights in your young life... true to your name. On this day, your birthday, I wish you all the best as always... but I also wish that you keep your core self intact. Alia has some interesting projects lined up for release. She has 'Raazi', 'Gully Boy' and 'Brahmastra' which will keep her busy in the coming year as well.

The actress will be seen with Ranbir Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan in 'Brahmastra' and work with Ranveer Singh in Zoya Akhtar's 'Gully Boy'. In 'Raazi', she will be seen opposite Vicky Kaushal. The venture is directed by Meghna Gulzar.

Alia's choice of films over the years has surely helped her gain a strong fanbase. In a short span of time, Mahesh Bhatt's darling daughter has become a hot favourite actress in Bollywood. Her impeccable performance and acting prowess in films such as 'Highway' and 'Udta Punjab' left a striking impact on the minds of the viewers.
